B.E.S.T. (Bible Educational Services & Training) Missions is the result of a vision God gave to Missionary Dr. Robert Bowen. This vision was to see the Word of God spread throughout Southeast Asia and beyond. The premise of this ministry is centered on Acts 16:5, “And so were the churches established in the faith, and increased in number daily.” B.E.S.T. Missions is a ministry of Colonial Baptist Church in Rogers, AR. 

Bible Distribution started originally to get a whole Bible translated and distributed in Thailand. Missionary Phillip Pope spent 20 years working to translate most of the Bible into the Thai language. The first King James Bible in the Thai language was printed by BEAMS in November 2005. The first shipment of a whole Thai Bible arrived in Thailand on July 4, 2006. Since that time, B.E.S.T. has published and distributed the following:

• 162,405 Whole Bibles in 13 languages
• 131,101 New Testaments in 5 languages
• 4,454,693 John and Romans in 7 languages
• 30 Million tracts in 6 languages
• 34,748,199 Portions of Scripture

Dr. Bowen and Dr. Hall, having traveled in 32 countries of the world have seen first hand the need to educate converts after salvation. The Education portion of B.E.S.T. is to disciple new converts into a personal walk with The Lord and teach them to be personal soul winners.  B.E.S.T. has distributed over 2 million dollars worth of discipleship material in Southeast Asia already. Materials such as soul winning lessons and training, Sunday School material, the Christmas story, God’s Simple Plan of Salvation, and various other Christian Growth material.

The Services part of B.E.S.T. is the church planting portion. We believe that churches birth churches. Churches cannot be birthed or established without the Word of God. B.E.S.T. has come alongside local churches to help establish over 60 churches in 7 different countries.

One of the goals of B.E.S.T. is to help establish Bible colleges or institutes in every country in Southeast Asia so that young preachers can be better equipped to do the work of the ministry. B.E.S.T. believes that the best way to reach an area or a country for Christ, is to train national believers to reach their people. B.E.S.T. helps to conduct Training conferences in Southeast Asia and beyond to strengthen national pastors to reach their own countries.
